Great colorful silk on cotton quilt


Fantastic hand-pieced and hand-sewn quilt topper. The backing is made of 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" cotton squares and the front is made from hundreds of (mostly) silk strips in 3 1/4" x 1/2", hand sewn onto the cotton squares. This is a very old quilt topper. Add batting and a back to complete it, or use it as upholstery material for that chair you've been itching to recover. A great find.
