Early 1900s white cotton petticoat
Intricate vintage petticoat with French lace

A 12" deep hem of exquisite French lace, tucking and cotton with swiss dot sections. The panels of cotton are stitched together with flat full seams and tiny French seams gathered onto a one inch waistband with more concentrated gathers at the back. The underskirt of the petticoat is of soft cotton, as well. A remarkable piece by a remarkable seamstress.
